What An Incredible Weekend!

It was amazing...joining thousands of women in worship to our "Lone Star" - JESUS! We learned so much from our Bible study teacher, Beth Moore. She's in the middle with the girl on her lap. I'm two people over to the right (with the pink cowgirl hat). My Siesta Sue is two people over to the left with her matching pink hat! Aren't we just so TEXAN! Anyway, it was an amazing time - as we had a head on collision with worship and Bible study - YEEHAW! We missed all you siestas who weren't able to be with us but we cherish the times when we will all be together again someday. I leave you with a thought that has been going 'round and 'round in my head since Saturday. "You are an heiress to the King of kings! You have a royal and beautiful inheritance. The King's Son is your double-portion and, through Him, you are God's inheritance, as well." If that thought don't light your fire, then ya'lls wood is wet!! ;>)

My woods not wet sister, I am still high! And as Beth would say,
"There is no high, like the Most High" I am trying to find that out as I write this. Please, keep me prayed up on my new journey....

There were so many people that I didn't get to meet that I so wanted to! Thank you for your kind words - this is exactly the reason that we need to start planning the NEXT Siesta Fiesta!

Thanks for stopping by and giving me a shout out until we can do it in person!

Love,
Melinda

I know I feel like I was on a posting hiatus. My internet wasn't working for awhile there. Back up and running, new blog is posted :)
